    • You choose your own lesson times (before work, in the evening, on weekends) and they integrate seamlessly with school, work or family life.
    • Bad weather or other unexpected events? No problem — just follow your lesson online instead of cancelling or missing a session.
    • No dependence on a teacher's schedule; make up or reschedule lessons without extra costs. The DrumDocs are always ready for you and never call in sick.
  2. Time and cost savings
    • The DrumDocs are waaaay cheaper than in-person lessons.
    • Stay at home or practise wherever you feel comfortable.
    • Save the time and money you'd normally spend on travel.
  3. On-demand lesson material
    • All lessons, jukebox songs, play-along tracks, interactive & educational tools and explanations are directly available on DrumDocs, with new lessons and jukebox tracks added every week.

    • You can rewatch, pause, loop, slow down or speed up any lesson wherever and whenever you like.
  5. Less pressure
    • Studying at home can be less intimidating than face-to-face lessons, making it easier to make mistakes and learn from them.
    • No awkward silences or pressure if you haven't been able to practise or need to miss a lesson.
  6. Community
    • Join the DrumDocs community through our forum, where you can find extra inspiration and network with drummers from all over the world.
The best approach is a structured one: start with the basics (rhythm, coordination, technique) and build step by step. DrumDocs offers a clear learning route where the doctors guide you to the right lessons at the right time. Combine the lessons with the Jukebox to practice immediately.

No. You can absolutely start your first online drum lessons with just your hands and feet. You're bound to find something to hit at home ;)

An electronic kit or a full acoustic set does make it more fun and motivating in the long run, but it's not immediately necessary.

It just depends on how far you want to go. Our well-structured DrumDocs Lesson Library ensures that you get results quickly. You can learn to read notes, play nice beats and fills, or simply learn a song you would like to be able to play.

Step by step, the lessons take you to what you set yourself as a goal.

Our structured lessons remove all uncertainties about where to start.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced drummer.

Absolutely. DrumDocs offers lessons for all levels — from complete beginner to advanced. The lesson library contains challenging material on fills, rudiments, theory and stroke techniques. Advanced players will also find challenging arrangements in the Jukebox to refine their technique.

Teachers & Students
Yes! With a teacher subscription you can create accounts for your students, link them to your account, assign homework and track their progress. As a teacher you always have a clear overview of what each student is doing and how they are progressing.

At this time, uploading your own lessons is not yet available for users. DrumDocs is continuously working on new features. Do you have specific wishes or ideas? Contact us at drWout@drumdocs.com — we'd love to hear from you!
